Forecast and targets for 2017

The total number of central procurements is expected to grow in comparison to the previous year. The growth of central procurement and increased efficiency has enabled a reduction in the service fee percentage in several framework agreements. The average service fee will see a further decrease. For customers, the lower service fee percentage translates into lower prices. Demand for procurement development and tendering services is also expected to see growth. Hansel’s financial position is expected to remain strong.

The upcoming regional government reform in particular may generate growth in the company’s business and thereby increase societal savings. Changes are expected to occur slowly, with the major effects materialising in later years.

In February 2017, the Ministry of Finance assigned Hansel the task of implementing a government procurement data service to citizens as part of the execution of the digitalisation project for government procurement.
